I have a great passion for New York City, it's my favorite place in the universe.
The bustling energy and vibrant culture is what draws me to it, but what truly makes me feel on top of the world is the breathtaking view from above.
But my aspiration was never to be a mere spectator; I wanted to be a part of it. I had always been a writer, crafting stories and poems since I was a youngling. My ultimate goal was to become a prize-winning writer, recognized for my talent and creativity.
I used to spend hours scribbling away at my keyboard, imagining all the incredible stories I'd one day tell. But, as often happens, life had other plans for me and my writing career has been less than stellar.
Currently, I work as a blogger for Buzzfeed, crafting lightweight pieces and clickbait articles. It's not what I had imagined for myself, but it pays the bills and allows me to reside in this incredible metropolis.
My latest articles were "10 Reasons Why Being Abducted by Aliens Would Actually Be Amazing", "The Top 7 Most Memorable Alien Encounters According to Instagram" and "Why Earth's Pizza is the Only Reason We Haven't Been Invaded Yet"
But my parents still believe I write for the New York Times because I've never mustered the courage to tell them the truth.
